• Experience with Purchasing Dept or Inventory Control desired.
• Experience with MS Word and MS Excel with extensive experience creating spreadsheets.

Job Responsibilities

• Monitor inventory counts and create Purchase Orders to replenish inventory levels.
• Upload and process inventory feeds to various systems. This will include pulling data into an xml/excl format and loading into outside system. Work with outside vendors on any issues with data feeds.
• Process customer orders. As orders come in process orders and provide feedback on shipping and order status as well as ongoing customer service & returns.
• Work with both internal and external technical staff to facilitate resolution of any problems that may arise between systems. This could include problem identification and reporting.
• Work with technical team to automate the product feeds.
• Monitoring customer feedback and work to resolve them in a timely fashion.

Output productivity

Ability to receive products in the processing center and then to turn around and send products to a warehouse in a timely fashion. Receiving, labeling of product and packages to be shipped to the National Fulfillment Center. Time sensitive shipments and prioritizing is of utmost importance. Optimize the total number of boxes shipped out per day for number of hours worked is essential.

Attention to detail

Labeling of items to be shipped with correct labels according to written procedures. Checking in products according to written procedures. Processing of damages, shortages and overall product variance controls.

Multitasking with ability to prioritize tasks

Daily evaluations and prioritizing of shipments to fulfillment center. Work closely with purchasing department to ensure product is available for sales at fulfillment center for website sales. Delegation to all personal of all daily tasks. Follow up on all tasks to ensure accuracy of completion. Oversee all operations as needed for efficient flow and productivity levels.

Following procedures and directions

Following written instructions; shipping, receiving and warehouse procedures. Following verbal instructions from supervisors.

Organization skills

Sorting and inventory categorization. Organization of products by manufacturer type and type of delivery. Being able to efficiently organize the flow of products through the warehouse.

This position will be part time but will become full time in 1 - 3 months.
